Ways to support Avian Haven

Monetary Donations

Contributions from our supporters help us provide care for more than 3,000 wild birds every year. MightyCause, the fundraising platform we use to process online contributions, gives you the option to use a credit card, PayPal, or a giving card. A receipt for your tax-deductible gift will be sent to you via e-mail. Of course, you can also mail a check to 418 North Palermo Road, Freedom, ME 04941. You will be sent a printed acknowledgment that can be used for tax purposes. Donate now.

Honorary and Memorial Gifts

A donation to Avian Haven is a meaningful way to honor or remember someone special, while supporting the care of injured and orphaned wild birds. Please include the honoree's name and address or family contact information in the comment field if you make your donation online. We will send a notification of your thoughtful gift, keeping the amount confidential. Donate now.

For our Facebook friends: It’s easy to throw an online Facebook Fundraiser for Avian Haven, encouraging your Facebook friends to help you raise money for a worthy organization, perhaps to honor your birthday! 100% of donations go directly to Avian Haven. Instructions are here.

Donations of Goods

Gifts of supplies are always welcome. If you have something that you think we might like, but that is not on our wish list, you can ask us by e-mail or phone if what you have in mind would be useful. One of our volunteer transporters might be able to help with delivery if you are not able to travel here personally. View our wish list.
